Adhesive tape solutions for automotive mirrors

Avery Dennison offers a variety of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape solutions for automotive mirror bonding. Our products meet many OEM specifications.

Adhesives must be engineered for longer vehicle life spans

Compared to those of generations past, modern vehicles are driven longer and harder. Vehicle platforms and individual vehicles both have longer lifetimes. And vehicles are being subjected to increasing wear and tear with the proliferation of ride-sharing and a growing used-vehicle marketplace.

Seemingly simple components, such as mirror bonding adhesives, must be engineered for durability.

Pressure-sensitive adhesives offer advantages for mirror bonding

The Avery Dennison mirror solution delivers that durability. It’s a double-coated, polyethylene foam tape with adhesives specially formulated for long-term stability and adhesion to glass.

Our standard tape construction for this application offers a balance of performance and cost effectiveness. It can also be customized based on the needs of OEMs and suppliers.
